Volunteering abroad?

My cousin Sophia is traveling abroad particularly in Canada. It was a sudden decision but she said a volunteer abroad Canada will give her the opportunity to have a stable job abroad. Does Canada offer different job opportunities? Is my cousin’s decision right?
